Laura is a 40yr old artist trapped in a regular job, but currently has a schedule where she works 4 days, then has 3 off, so she always has a 3-day weekend.
She has a steely-eyed African Grey Parrot, Jerry, who moved with her every 3 to 6 months for 3 years when she worked for a staffing agency and is very happy to now be staying in one place for a while.
Laura is currently weaving using five Weavette looms (2"x2", 2"x4" 2"x6", 4"x6" and 6"x6"), a 16" Mirrix "Big Sister" Tapestry loom, a 12" triangle loom from Laffing Horse Farms, the Tiny Weaver set, which consists of a 3.5" bias square loom and a 3.5" triangle loom, the 4" Multiloom, and the 3.5" Diamond Loom, all from Hazel Rose Looms.
She has also begun an embroidered panel sampler and started a new blog just for that, AND has settled down in Ponca City, OK, where she is working on unpacking her art studio, and has created yet another blog for THAT.
